Industrialization is progressing rapidly, and industrial water pollution is severe. With the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization in China, the types and quantities of industrial wastewater have increased rapidly, increasing the pressure on surface and underground water environment pollution, posing a serious threat to ecological safety and residents' health. The total amount of water resources in China ranks sixth in the world, but the per capita share of water resources is only one quarter of the world average, and it ranks 88th among the 153 countries continuously counted by the World Bank.
